Hi, I’m Bonnie. I’m technically trained in market research, but with a mind of a strategist.

Before starting BT Strategy, I was a product strategist turned product manager at Afterpay (acquired by Block), a market research and consumer insights lead at Sephora, and a consultant at a couple of the best research agencies in the world.

I’ve consulted a range of industries, including tech, entertainment, e-commerce, CPG, even toilet paper and disease prevention.

Few of my favorite projects include:

  • Constructed a new loyalty & rewards program from end-to-end - idea generation, user research, planning & documentation, prototyping, testing, production, launch, and performance tracking

  • Studied shopping behavior in-store, online, and everything in between to build a seamless omni-shopping journey

    - cross-functional innovation workshops with inputs from shop-alongs, surveys, and industry research

  • Explored the world of Smart Glasses (awareness, purchase drivers/barriers, use cases) to inform product development & marketing tactics

    - mock store visits, survey w/ drivers analysis and mapping

  • Assessed consumers’ TV-watching habits and preferences to inform a new Streaming Service (e.g., favorite content/genres, pricing/value perceptions, etc.)

    - ethnos, segmentation, discrete choice modeling

  • Workshopped with R&D and customers to identify the role of flavor (emotional and function) and invent new flavor profiles for coffee & tea

    - co-creations & taste tests
